Building Funds
  • Building Fund Balance: $71,447  (as of July 1, 2009)
  • Donations Matched: Every $2 received transfers $1 from captial savings into the building fund.

The building committee is working on the final detailed plans, while fund raising continues in earnest.  Once a final plan is prepared it will be reviewed by conference and local authorities for approval.

Feb. 21, 2010  The church in Business Meeting voted by 75% to approve Option C as our future building plan. The motion was to:
  • Build a new 6,000 sqft metal building, as a gym (100'x60').
  • Build a new 2,400 sqft wood building, as a kitchen and conference room (40'x60').
  • Remodel the existing 6,080 sqft Morgan Center as a Thrift Store with Yard sale.
  • No debt is planned at this time.
The pastor mailed out to every member, a letter with rough pricing and details on this plan.
Did you know that the main sanctuary was built in 1974 at a cost of $220,000.  Adjusted for inflation, in 2008 that would equal $981,583.
